The municipal election is coming up August 25 to elect City Council and Board of Education members. MCDW is providing a forum for the city council candidates at this Thursday's meeting. All of the candidates were invited, and most have said they will attend. They include the following.

City Council District 2

• Thomas Casez (has previously attended MCDW meetings)

• David Little (cannot attend)

City Council District 3

• Liliana Peinder (member of MCDW)

• Jennie Robinson

• John Stuart

City Council District 4

• Nick Frevold

• Bill Kling

• Will Pylant
